  • 1. Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly or grate them finely. Peel and grate the fresh ginger finely. Place in a bowl.
  • 2. Add butter & rapeseed oil, soy and honey. Stir until the honey is completely dissolved and the marinade is smooth.
  • 3. Place the chicken in a bowl or plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Make sure the chicken is well covered. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
  • 4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade. Fry the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until cooked through and golden brown. Baste with marinade during frying for extra flavour.
  • 5. Cut the chicken into slices and serve immediately with rice, stir-fried vegetables or a fresh salad.
